Our Studio

We have a spacious and bright studio located just off of West 11th in Eugene. Our studio has an open floorplan with plenty of space to move around the outside of the studio dance floor.

 

It was a priority that our studio dance floor is specifically designed to support the health and safety of our adult movers. We felt that it was important to avoid using a laminate flooring directly over concrete and install a sprung floor instead. A sprung floor is a floor that absorbs shock and is considered the best kind of floor for dance and indoor physical activities. They enhance performance and greatly reduce injuries and pain to the joints.

Thanks to the generous support of our community, our studio dance floor is 900 square feet of sprung floor from Stagestep “Developed for safety and performance. Springstep IV is known for excellent resistance and energy absorption combined with lateral foot support to keep dancers safe and provide the ultimate dance floor surface.” The sprung floor is covered in Rosco Adagio Marley with its “non-reflective, controlled slip vinyl surface providing a medium-fast floor speed.”
